IoT based Soil Moisture and Sun Light Monitoring for Smart Planting

Abstract Plant enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, and farmers usually have more than one plant that needs to be looked after every day. Lack of water unproportioned sun light can a serious problem if they leave the for long period time. An Internet Things (IoT) based automatic remote sprinkler with cover was designed solve this problem. This system eases users monitoring condition plants without having in field. The model uses an ESP32 microcontroller, Light Dependant Resistor (LDR), relay, L298N DC motor driver. In dry soil conditions, pump will turn on soil. When conditions are moist or wet not on. there is intense light, pull curtains plant. All data monitored remotely via Wi-Fi connection. results work shows works well 100% success rate.
